FRANCE - ARLES


Arles was first occupied by Celtic tribes and then by Greek colony and becomes Roman when 
Julius Cezar gives the colony to the Veteran of his legions -  Golden Age for Arles " Roman in Gaul" .
Arles was destroyed during the Middle Ages and rebuilt during   the 12th century.

Arles is one of the place of Provence where  van Gogh found the light and colors. In South you will find
Van Gogh´s Bridge (painted March 1888).  In center -  Former Hospital of Arles when he was a patient.
