 Vicenza is capital of Vicenza province - Northern Italy. Situated at the foot of the south side of the Monte Berici.

Man has lived around the Vicenza area since prehistoric times.

The various eras which the town  has gone through - Roman, Gothic, Baroque and   Neoclassical have  left their mark.
